At Meredith Brown, we have a dedicated team of experienced consultants and research professionals, all of whom have not only experienced working within financial services but, more importantly, have recruited within the Asset Management and Investor Services sectors for many years.

Prior to forming Meredith Brown Associates, Alex gained over seven years of experience within the Investment Banking industry. Whilst working for Chase Manhattan Bank and JP Morgan he gained exposure to a variety of products, including Equities, Fixed Income and Derivatives. In 1997 Alex moved into the recruitment industry, focusing on providing tailored solutions to the Asset Management arena. In 2002 he set up Meredith Brown Associates Ltd, as well as delivering the strategy for the business he is still very much involved in day to day recruitment activity which remains his real passion.

Having graduated in Business Economics from the University of Exeter, Peter began his career in the City in 2004 at a large Financial Services recruitment company. Here he met two colleagues with whom he went on to found a boutique recruitment firm, Fennemore Banks, which focused on the investment banking, private equity and asset management sectors. Having enjoyed a friendly rivalry with Meredith Brown Associates whilst establishing his business, Peter saw the light and joined the company in 2012!

Karen began her career working for a large Corporate Bank prior to making the transition into recruitment. She gained experience working for some of the larger recruitment firms and boutique operations prior to crossing paths with Alex. Now, 16 years on, she offers a unique combination of industry knowledge across the investment management sector together with a demonstrable track record of building and maintaining trusted relationships. Her dedication, integrity and continuous drive to deliver at an exceptional standard has proved a winning formula for her clients and candidates over the years.
Kate joined Meredith Brown Associates in 2017 and has 20 years' Financial Services recruitment experience from contingency, search and in-house perspectives. She has broad experience across the Investor Services landscape in particular, where she has a wide network of trusted contacts. She works across a range of corporate levels and functions and is a natural relationship builder with a successful track record for attracting and retaining clients through high quality placements and consistent service delivery.
Robert began his City career across Corporate, Investment & Private Banking. Having worked for over 9 years at some leading Financial Institutions he joined Meredith Brown Associates in October 2005. Robert’s longevity at the firm has enabled him to gain a comprehensive understanding of the full recruitment process as well as the Asset Management industry as a whole. He is skilled at being able to give clear guidance, ranging from high level insights to very specific details, and has a natural ability to build strong and trusted relationships.

Linda graduated in Psychology and Biology and went on to obtain an MBA from City University Business School (now Bayes Business School), specialising in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management. This, coupled with her 15 years’ experience as an HR Director at UBS Global Asset Management, gave her an invaluable insight into the investment industry. She has also worked in an integrated financial planning and wealth management company managing their Talent Acquisition. She initially joined Meredith Brown Associates in 2004, having been a client of the company whilst working at UBS. Linda is a Chartered Member of the CIPD. She prides herself on her strong communication and rapport building skills with both clients and candidates. She recruits across all areas of asset management having a particular interest in Operations. Outside of work Linda enjoys travelling, learning Italian and baking.
Sarah joined Meredith Brown Associates in 2007, having previously worked for several large institutions in the City. Her background is HR / Recruitment / Training & PA work. She has many years of administration experience and supports the Senior Recruitment team with a variety of tasks.
Alex joined Meredith Brown Associates in 2021 having spent the previous 15 years living in Hong Kong where she worked within financial and educational institutions. Now back in the UK, Alex is returning to her original career within recruitment and has joined the team as a resourcing co-ordinator.
