Investment Analyst – Multi Asset

An exciting opportunity has arisen within this leading global asset manager for an Investment Analyst to join their London based Multi-Asset Team. Candidates with relevant buy side, sell side or consultancy investment research experience together with strong Excel and quantitative skills would be ideally suited.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Through investment analysis, provide investment recommendations that can add value to clients’ portfolios
  • To provide actionable and in depth research articulated & clear recommendations on asset allocation
  • Be the key point of contact for investment-related projects within Multi Asset
  • Help provide investment analysis and documentation for Multi Asset portfolios, as required
  • To conduct research into investment funds, including the full range of passive options, and internal and external active managers
  • Contribute to investment chart library and client/prospect presentations
  • To assist with the responses to specific product proposals coming from sales, RFP desks, etc.
  • To be familiar with quantitative tools and techniques
  • To maintain a full understanding of, and to comply with, all regulatory, legal, corporate and client mandate requirements that impact upon your role
  • Be responsible for preparing any work and present it to the Multi Asset Team

Background & Experience

  • Strong academic background (Good degree 2.1 or above)
  • CFA qualified, part qualified, (or equivalent qualification) desired
  • 3 years minimum experience in an investment environment (buy side, sell side or consultants)
  • Fund research experience preferable
  • Investment analysis experience preferable
  • Strong Excel/quantitative skills essential
  • Strong team player, self motivated and self starter
