Digital Marketing Executive – Fund Management

This City based, boutique, equity and multi-asset fund management house currently have an opportunity for a Digital Marketing expert. Working as part of this small, friendly, and dynamic Marketing team you will hold responsibility for the following:

Role & Responsibilities

  • Working with the Marketing team, contribute to developing and deploying plans to achieve Company engagement and brand goals
  • Build the Company’s social media presence
  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database management, email, social media and advertising campaigns
  • Work with colleagues / agencies / content creators to build effective content and maximise online, offline and integrated channel effectiveness including all aspects of social, paid, earned and owned media
  • Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate customer experience
  • Contribute to the analysis of customers’ behavioural data and support insights by identifying trends
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing, create dashboards where appropriate and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Produce recommendations to optimise spend and performance based on insights and analytics, and confidently demonstrate the value and insight that work has delivered
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, providing thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Essential knowledge, skills & abilities

  • Experience working in fund /asset management
  • Good undergraduate degree in a relevant subject plus evidence of continuing professional development
  • Customer driven, with broad working experience in digital marketing and up-to-date understanding of trends, digital technologies and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Demonstrable experience managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and advertising campaigns
  • Experience identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Experience setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • High standard of accuracy, presentation and attention to detail
  • Numerate and with excellent use of English (including spelling, grammar and adapting communication style for audience)
