CRM/Digital Marketing Executive

An opportunity has arisen within this leading, independently owned, City based investment house for a CRM / Digital Marketing specialist to lead the email marketing strategy for the firm as part of their overall marketing plan.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work with Content team, taking core content and optimise for email (related links, content on page, embedded links etc) based upon benchmarks and industry metrics
  • Work with the digital team to create a joined up a digital campaign experience e.g. email, web, social media etc
  • Develop a suite of responsive design email templates, landing pages and forms for automated campaigns aligned to digital brand guidelines and standards
  • Work with the Digital Experience Manager on proposing campaign automation/email marketing solutions
  • Maintain and update relevant databases and systems
  • Manage development and improvement of mailing list configuration
  • Work with IT to ensure the CRM platform structure and architecture are effective in capturing all required information at key points in the customer lifecycle
  • Identify optimal channels for acquiring new email subscribers, social media campaigns and other online channels
  • Monitor the competitor, regulatory, industry and economic environments in order to innovate creative and fresh ideas to the team

Background

  • Proven experience working within email marketing, creating and launching email campaigns in financial or professional services
  • Advanced knowledge of email marketing, including the use of marketing automation, personalisation and dynamic content
  • Strong analytical skills, demonstrable data-driven approach and understanding
  • Experience or exposure in working on multiple campaign management tools such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics (CRM), content management software (CMS) and email service providers (ESPs)
  • Knowledge of web development technologies, including CSS, HTML and Java/Flash
  • Good knowledge of Google Analytics and similar performance measurement tools
  • Editorial, written and communication skills for digital execution
  • Ability to disseminate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Background in customer acquisition, re-engagement and retention strategies
  • Ability to interact with clients at a variety of levels and across functions
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage projects, organise and prioritise
