Corporate Strategy Associate – Investment Division

This leading investment manager who provide services for private clients, charities and institutions, currently have an opportunity available with their Financial Services Division:

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison for member(s) of the Financial Services Investment Executive Committee
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of conferences, committees and meetings both internally and with external parties
  • Create, manipulate and analyse data
  • Draft high level and often complex papers which upon review will be submitted to the Board and/or Financial Services Executive Committee
  • Produce technical reports/written communication with minimal supervision
  • Where appropriate, prepare the agenda for meetings, noting action points and communicating these to relevant attendees or those impacted
  • Prepare presentations and other reports as required
  • Act as liaison with other departments and external parties
  • Responsibilities will include working with highly confidential and sensitive information and thus discretion must be applied at all times

Background & Experience

  • Educated to degree level
  • Relevant professional qualifications desirable (i.e. CISI, IMC)
  • Demonstrable experience gained within investment management or private banking
  • Experience gained within professional administration/coordination, project management or operations management desirable
  • Able to use initiative in order to move tasks and responsibilities forward, including by persuading and influencing others
  • MS Office, including advanced Excel skills, including v-lookups and pivot tables
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong numeracy and numerical analysis skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Planning and organising
  • Delivering results and meeting expectations
  • Working effectively with people
